 As a guide for our Bible studies, we use the current version of the International Sunday School's "Standard Lesson Commentary" for the King James Version of the Bible. We have copies available in our classroom for participants to use.

During the study, we read the written commentary and discuss the applicable scriptures and biblical principles. Our goal is to improve our Bible knowledge and understanding and our ability to apply the Bible in our daily life. We follow the apostle Paul's commendation of the Bereans, who searched the scriptures carefully to ensure that what they were being taught was indeed the truth of God (Acts 17:11; 1 Thessalonians 5:20-21) and inspired of God rather than man. - 2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 146:2-3

The Sunday Message is intended to instruct and encourage from God's word. The message ranges in topic from practical Bible based admonition to informative instruction about scripture background, meaning, and application. The primary emphasis always leans toward developing a personal relationship with God and his son, our King, Jesus Christ.

We offer prayer and songs of praise at the opening and close of each meeting and at several points throughout. We also offer an opportunity, between the Bible Study and the Bible Message, for members and guests to share their own song of praise, prayer, or brief testimony.
